Lavender House is a grand and stately Victorian Terrace House, one of only a few in Brisbane. It's purple colour and red door make it stand out among the bustle of the historic Petrie Terrace.
It is situated very close to Normanby five ways and there is 2 hour free car parking on the streets surrounding our practice. The most convenient streets to park in is St James street or Mountjoy Street. Direct entry is via Petrie Terrace or St James Street. Our Practice is easy to access via public transport with Normanby Busway Station just across the road and Roma Street Train station less than 15 minutes walk away through Roma Street Parklands.
Unfortunately, like any Victorian Terrace there are a lot of stairs, so disability access is limited. The upside is that the property is homely and welcoming, with a large array of artworks, plants and occasional therapy dogs, instantly relaxing clients when they step through the red door.
If you want a face-to-face appointment then make a booking for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday morning. Please note bookings for Brisbane clients on a Monday or Tuesday are only by telephone or by zoom.
Reading House is situated in the peaceful and picturesque beachside village of Casuarina Beach in Northern NSW. It is a 10 minute drive from Tweed Heads, 20 minutes from Coolangatta Airport and the lower Gold Coast and just 40 minutes away from Bryon Bay. Plenty of off street parking is available. The Practice Office is situated at the rear of the building and direct entry is accessed via a private back lane. At the entrance to the lane you will see a mosiac fish. The office is directly to the right of the fish.
Currently consultations are on a Monday and a Tuesday. If you are interested in attending a consultation with Carmel at the Reading House please make an online booking for either of these days. Please note that the Booking system hours are based on Queensland time and not NSW daylight savings time. During the NSW daylight savings period the actual appointment time will be an hour earlier than the appointment time you select.
